Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vladislav Vasilev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Koji Sobando (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Vladislav Vasilev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Koji Sobando!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, David Hoff and Bart Greer.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sobando throws a head kick but Vasilev moves out of range.
Vasilev digs a good body shot into Sobando's ribs.

Sobando closes the distance and clinches.
Sobando wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Vasilev misses with a punch to the body.
Vasilev lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Sobando backwards.
Vasilev can't find room to land a body shot as Sobando controls the action.
Vasilev works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Sobando is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Vasilev pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Sobando swings wildly with an uppercut but Vasilev uses good head movement to avoid it.
Vasilev content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Vasilev breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Vasilev punishes Sobando's body with a nice straight punch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vasilev ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Vasilev gets a clinch.
Vasilev throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Vasilev controlling the action here for a moment.

Vasilev cracks Sobando with a nice body shot.
Sobando looks winded!
Vasilev is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Still in the clinch, Vasilev scores with a nice short uppercut.
Vasilev lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Vasilev working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Sobando drops down looking for an ankle pick but Vasilev pulls his leg out and moves away.
Vasilev lands a slapping body shot.
Nice uppercut lands for Vasilev. That snapped Sobando's head back.

It looks like Koji Sobando has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Vasilev clinches.
Vasilev is leaning against Sobando and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Vasilev lands a body punch in the clinch.
A short uppercut from Vasilev.
Vasilev pushes Sobando back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
The referee is keeping an eye on Vasilev - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Vasilev looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Vasilev.
Vasilev stops a takedown attempt from Sobando.

Vasilev breaks from the clinch.
Vasilev chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Sobando ducks right into an uppercut from Vasilev.
Vasilev catches Sobando with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Sobando shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jab, jab by Vasilev - just one landing.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Vasilev, right into the meat.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Vasilev.

Sobando takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Vasilev is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Sobando takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
The fighters circle, before Vasilev throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Sobando's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Vasilev lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
