The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Robero misses.
Wrinkle has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Robero moves into range and clinches up with Wrinkle.
Wrinkle misses with a short punch on the inside.

Robero pulls Wrinkle into guard.
Wrinkle is looking to stand up but Robero won't let him.
Robero has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Robero escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wrinkle gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Wrinkle has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Robero is proving hard to escape from.
Robero has Wrinkle pulled in close to control his posture.
Robero is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Robero is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Wrinkle defends well.

Robero feints and as Wrinkle raises his hands in defense, Robero changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Wrinkle lands a really nice looking cross but Robero seems unphased.
Robero throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Wrinkle moves into range and connects with a jab.
Robero closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Wrinkle lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Robero thows a body shot but no joy.
Wrinkle connects with a right hand. Robero shakes it off.
Robero darts in looking for a takedown but Wrinkle gets double underhooks and turns Robero into the cage.

Robero breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Robero closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Wrinkle quickly recovers to half guard.
Wrinkle is looking to escape.
Robero is looking to take a break and control but Wrinkle is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Wrinkle is trying to stand up here but Robero is controlling him well.
Wrinkle really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Robero. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Robero bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wrinkle is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Robero lands some shots froms side control.
Wrinkle pushes Robero away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Robero gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Robero stands up and beckons Wrinkle to his feet.
Jab, jab by Wrinkle - just one landing.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Wrinkle connects with a body shot.
Robero shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Robero throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wrinkle's waist but Wrinkle gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Robero off to one side.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Paulo Robero will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wrinkle ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Robero is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Robero tries to clinch up but Wrinkle circles away and keeps his distance.
Robero throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Wrinkle throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Robero on the side of the head.

Robero tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wrinkle paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Robero shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Robero was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wrinkle clobbers Robero with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Wrinkle explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

A close second round but Marc Wrinkle will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Wrinkle lands a right hook to the body.
Wrinkle bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Robero is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Wrinkle.
Robero tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Wrinkle defends well and Robero ends up having to push Wrinkle into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Robero has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Wrinkle regains guard immediately.

Paulo Robero overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Robero takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

I would just about give that final round to Marc Wrinkle.
