Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Garrett Huff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian Scherbakov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Garrett Huff has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Garrett Huff!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Damian Scherbakov!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Konstantin Menshow and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huff shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Scherbakov as he avoids it easily.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Scherbakov can do anything to dispel that myth.

Scherbakov is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Huff is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Huff really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Well Scherbakov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
