PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ahmed Ahmedov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robinson has chosen Bang as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robinson pushes Ahmedov away with a front kick.
Robinson tries to close the distance and clinch but Ahmedov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Ahmedov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Robinson as he jumps to the side.
Ahmedov avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ahmedov.

It looks like Ahmed Ahmedov has been cut.
Ahmedov takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Ahmedov shoots in for a double leg but Robinson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ahmed Ahmedov. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Robinson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ahmedov has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Robinson closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Ahmedov's guard.

Ahmedov has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Robinson doesn't defend quickly enough and Ahmedov has managed to lock this one up! Can Robinson escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Ahmedov on a fantastic submission victory.
