Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Aadilou Ankutse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riviere Hinds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ankutse comes into the arena with i ka kane blaring out of the sound system. Riviere Hinds has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aadilou Ankutse!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Riviere Hinds!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Illya Tyunina and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ankutse dives in and grabs Hinds's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hinds pushes down on Ankutse's head and hops out.

Hinds shoots in and bounces Ankutse off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Hinds working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Ankutse's head.
Ankutse working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hinds.

Ankutse looking for a guillotine here but Hinds defends easily.

Ankutse is looking for a triangle but Hinds pushes his legs off easily.
Hinds is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Hinds throws a big elbow that misses.

We've been hearing good reports from Ankutse's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
