Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kelvin Jackson !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Yoson!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yoson rushes Jackson and presses him up against the cage.

Yoson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Yoson throws a looping overhand right but Jackson ducks down to avoid it.
Jackson scores with a nice right hand.

Yoson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jackson , pushing him back against the cage.

Mike Yoson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Yoson's head backwards.
Yoson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Yoson throws a right hand that Jackson ducks under and follows up with a left that Jackson also avoids with ease.

and Jackson counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Yoson!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Yoson wants to improve his position but Jackson is controlling well.

Yoson seems to have recovered his senses.

Yoson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Jackson does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Jackson catches Yoson with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jackson fails to land with a series of punches.
Yoson misses with the combination.
Yoson throws a right and a left that Jackson avoids nicely.
Jackson throws a nice looking combination but Yoson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Yoson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jackson circles away quickly and effectively.
Yoson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Yoson is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Yoson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Jackson slips a straight right by Yoson.
Yoson throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling Jackson to counter with a crisp jab.
Yoson looks winded!

Yoson throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Jackson counters with a series of strikes. Yoson will be more careful next time no doubt.
Jackson looks to land a combination. Yoson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Jackson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Jackson misses with a two punch combination.
Jackson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Yoson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jackson 's hands.


It looks like Kelvin Jackson has been cut.
Jackson throws a series of punches but Yoson avoids them all with ease.

Jackson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Yoson throws a poor cross that misses
and Jackson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Jackson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Jackson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Yoson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jackson fails to land with a series of punches.
Jackson staying out of range there.
Yoson throws a hook to the side of Jackson 's head but Jackson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Jackson moves out of range as Yoson strikes.
Yoson lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Jackson backs up against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Yoson closes the distance and clinches.

Yoson breaks the clinch.
Jackson is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Jackson lands a jab-cross combination.

Yoson gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Jackson is trying to break the clinch but Yoson is controlling him.

Yoson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

No joy there for Yoson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Kelvin Jackson will probably get the nod.
