Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jhaboiy Tobi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Burly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bill Burly has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jhaboiy Tobi's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tobi fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Tobi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Burly tries to avoid it but Tobi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Burly to the ground. Burly escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Burly throws a head kick but Tobi moves out of range.

Burly misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tobi fails to land the takedown.

Burly feints a jab promting Tobi to slip. Burly then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Tobi slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Burly fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tobi, pushing him back against the cage.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Tobi. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Burly tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Tobi manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Tobi is looking to control Burly's arms but Burly gets an underhook and turns him. Now Tobi has his back to the cage.

Burly really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tobi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Burly is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Tobi is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Bill Burly is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jhaboiy Tobi.
I think Burly has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
