Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sten Biller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hell Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Biller comes to the cage accompanied by Lützenkirchen- Nutcracker. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Vladimir Khabensky and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Biller checks the leg kick.
Rose leaves Biller with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Rose misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Biller.
Rose tries to bum rush Biller with a series of wild strikes but Biller uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Biller closes the distance and clinches up with Rose, looking for a takedown. Biller pushes Rose against the cage but Rose circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Biller shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rose pinned against the cage. Rose gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Rose is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Horrible takedown by Biller or perhaps it was just good defense by Rose which made him look bad.

Biller shoots in looking for a takedown. Rose tries to sprawl out of it but Biller keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rose manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Rose slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Biller throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rose was covering up waiting for the punch and Biller finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Rose really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Biller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Rose is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Biller postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Rose is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Biller, into his guard.

Rose might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Biller haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Sten Biller overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
