Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mateus Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jai McCracken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Jai McCracken enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mateus Allen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jai McCracken!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Ivan Kurochkin and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McCracken slips under a jab from Allen.
Allen throws a poor cross that misses
and McCracken counters with a thumping low kick.

McCracken shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Allen napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
You can see the frustration on Allen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
McCracken trying to control the position but Allen is working away.
McCracken in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Allen is not content to let McCracken control the position.

Allen is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because McCracken is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
You can see the frustration on McCracken's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

That was a close round but I would say that Mateus Allen will probably get the nod.

McCracken takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Allen is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

McCracken misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

McCracken fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Allen avoids it really well and circles away.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Allen throws a lazy right hand but McCracken sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
