The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Power tries to land a leg kick but Carter saw it coming and moves away.
A low kick from Power is predictable there
and Carter counters with a thumping low kick.
Power lands with an uppercut that bounces Carter off the cage and back into range.
Carter moves out of range as Power strikes.
Power swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A low kick from Power misses

and Carter moves into the clinch.
Carter is looking for a takedown.
Carter is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Power misses with a knee strike.
Power is looking to break free of the clinch but Carter has double underhooks.
Carter is trying to pull guard but Power has him pressed against the cage.
Power is trying to break the clinch but Carter is controlling him.
Power wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Carter has him pressed against the cage.
Carter tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Power smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Scotty Carter. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Power cracks Carter with a hook to the temple - Carter is on wobbly legs here! Power swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Carter falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Power wins by TKO!
