Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brolte Basse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Casy Carver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carver has chosen Bon Jovi - It's my life as his entrance music. Casy Carver will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Basse paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Basse looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Carver stuffs the takedown attempt from Basse. Basse gets slowly back to his feet.
Carver shoots in for a double leg but Basse sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Basse misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Carver.
Basse closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Carver did well to prevent Basse getting side control.

Carver is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Carver wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Carver shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Basse but Basse pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Basse looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Carver shoots for a takedown but Basse saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Carver controls Basse momentarily but Basse frees himself.

Carver wants to clinch up but Basse keeps it at a distance.
Basse looks for a takedown but Carver sprawls well.

Basse shoots in looking for a takedown. Carver tries to sprawl out of it but Basse keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Carver manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Casy Carver comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Carver has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
