The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bradberry misses with a series of wild punches.
Bradberry tries to bum rush Bansa with a series of wild strikes but Bansa uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bansa misses with a kick to the body.

Bradberry throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bansa was covering up waiting for the punch and Bradberry finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Bradberry distracts Bansa with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Bansa knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bradberry on the ground.
Bradberry wants to control from the top but Bansa keeps moving.
Bradberry throws a big elbow that misses.
Bansa is breathing heavily.
Bradberry postures up and lands a big shot to Bansa's brow.
Bradberry throws a big right hand that misses.

Bradberry pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bansa is keeping the position for now.
Bradberry controls from within his opponent's guard.
Bradberry is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Bradberry postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Bradberry has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Bradberry thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bansa's head.

Bradberry is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Bansa has managed to free his arm - good work.
Bradberry frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Bradberry has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bansa's face.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bradberry throws some wild stikes that Bansa manages to avoid easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bradberry working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Bansa turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Bradberry off and cradles Bansa's limp body as Bradberry celebrates with his corner.
