Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Randolph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lance Invictus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Invictus has chosen Can't Be Touched as his entrance music. Lance Invictus acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Randolph!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lance Invictus!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Invictus closes the distance and clinches.

Invictus manages to break the clinch.
A jab from Invictus does it's job there.


It looks like James Randolph has been cut.
Randolph throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Randolph throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Randolph shoots for a double leg takedown but Invictus sprawls well. He's pushed Randolph's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Invictus avoids the body shot from Randolph.
A right-left combo lands from Invictus.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Randolph fails to land the takedown.
Invictus misses with a body shot.
Randolph lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Invictus circles away quickly and effectively.
Sloppy strikes from Randolph. Those never looked like landing.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Invictus - that will leave a mark!
Randolph tries to clinch up but Invictus circles away and keeps his distance.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A combination from Invictus does no damage.
Randolph shoots in and drives through. Invictus sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Randolph. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Invictus fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Randolph is breathing heavily.
Horrible takedown by Randolph or perhaps it was just good defense by Invictus which made him look bad.

Invictus closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
A nice right hand lands inside from Invictus.

Invictus breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Randolph tries for a takedown but Invictus circles away easily
and Invictus counters with a big right hand! Oh Randolph is in trouble here! Invictus follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lance Invictus!
Our winner, Lance Invictus, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
