Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Benji Hidori (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Micheal Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hidori comes into the arena with allejandro blaring out of the sound system. Micheal Hall will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Dirk Anderson and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hidori scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Hall is trying to get back to half guard.

Hidori is trying to remain composed but Hall is hammering down strikes to the side of his head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Hall is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Hall gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Hall gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Hall apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Hall closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hidori circles away.

Hidori avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hall is working Hidori over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hidori is on top in guard.
Hidori would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
