The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
OSullivan takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Syroviy gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Syroviy lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

OSullivan dives in for a single leg takedown but Syroviy sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Syroviy breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Syroviy has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Syroviy drops OSullivan with a right and a left! Syroviy comes rushing in but OSullivan regains his composure and manages to keep Syroviy in guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Let's hope that Syroviy has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Eduard Syroviy has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Syroviy has closed the distance and engaged OSullivan in a clinch.

Syroviy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Syroviy connects with a vicious head kick that knocks OSullivan to the floor! Syroviy dives in looking for the finish!

Syroviy scores with a big shot! OSullivan's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save OSullivan! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
