Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jamie Oro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Knock Out (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Jamie Oro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Knock Out!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Darius Henderson and Ron Honeybunn.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Out.

Oro decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Out wants to control but Oro is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Out is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Oro scores with a couple of nice shots.
Out keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Oro is working for a submission of some sort.
Oro is looking to stall here but Out recovers full guard.
Oro preventing the sweep.
Oro slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Out looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Out is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Oro trying to control the position from guard on top but Out is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Out looking for a sweep. Not yet Out, not yet.
Oro is looking to pass into half guard but Out pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Out is in guard.
Out wants to stand but Oro has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Oro is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Oro is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Out is just riding it out for now. Oro eventually gives up the hold.

Oro looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Oro looking to control but Out is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Oro postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Out looks a forlorn figure.
Oro wants to control the pace but Out is squirming around nicely.
Out is desperately trying to improve his position but Oro has a good base and remains in mount.
Out is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Oro tries to control but Out wriggling away.
Out can't escape the position.
Oro raining down shots from the mount!
Oro looking to control and managing it successfully.
Oro prevents Out from getting the reversal.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


A nice inside leg kick there by Out. That's going to slow Oro down.

Oro throws a right hand that Out ducks under and follows up with a left that Out also avoids with ease.

Out is pressing down on Oro's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

We're going to have a standup here because Jamie Oro wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Out goes for a double leg but Oro avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Oro continues to drive forward.
Out lands a body punch.

Out jumps guard and drags Oro to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Oro wants to control from the top but Out keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Jamie Oro just wasn't active enough.

Oro gets caught napping as Out dives in and scores a takedown. Oro manages to retain guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A close second round but Knock Out will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Out shoots for a takedown but Oro saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Jamie Oro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Knock Out.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oro moves in looking to clinch but Out pushes him off.
Out shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Oro pinned against the cage. Oro gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

It looks like Jamie Oro has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Out counters by moving into the clinch.

Out lands a takedown into guard.
Oro is pulling down on Out's head. It's preventing any offense from Out, at least for the moment.
Out advances position into side control!
Out throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Oro tries to bench press Out off him but Out keeps the position.
Out wants to stand but Oro is controlling his arm.
Oro can't do much from the bottom here.

Out wants to control but Oro is keeping him busy.

Out tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Out has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Oro is looking for a sweep.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Out is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Oro knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Oro tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Knock Out comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Out has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
