The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Columbo Gatti and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dudley fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Hermias scores with a jab. Dudley acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Hermias shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Dudley manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

My spies in The Beast inform me that Hermias has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hermias wants to control from the top but Dudley keeps moving.

Dudley is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Hermias scores with a couple of nice shots.
Dudley is looking to control Hermias's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Dudley avoid being mounted?
Hermias has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Hermias seems to be working for a kimura but Dudley defends the submission attempt.
Dudley is staying active underneath Hermias, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
