Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Hemingway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ninnerd Disms (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hemingway comes to the cage accompanied by Respect. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, James Hemingway!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ninnerd Disms!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Hemingway throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Hemingway fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Disms manages to avoid it.
Hemingway rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Disms moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hemingway avoids the body shot from Disms.
Disms takes one on the chin but seems OK.


It looks like Ninnerd Disms has been cut.
Hemingway gets cracked there but stands up to it.


It looks like James Hemingway has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hemingway looks to land a right hand but Disms moved out of range.
Hemingway throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Disms swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Hemingway.
A combination from Hemingway does no damage.
Hemingway shoots in for a double leg but Disms sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

We've been hearing reports that Hemingway has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Disms throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Disms keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

A close round but Ninnerd Disms will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.

Hemingway lunges at Disms with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Disms's hand.
Hemingway throws a shot from downtown. Disms moves away and avoids it.
Disms slips a straight right by Hemingway.
Hemingway looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Ninnerd Disms seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Hemingway changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Disms tries to avoid it but Hemingway manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Disms to the ground. Disms escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Hemingway throws the left hand but Disms avoids the punch easily.

Ninnerd Disms is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

James Hemingway's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Hemingway drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Disms gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Hemingway turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Hemingway wants to control but Disms is keeping him busy.

Disms is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Hemingway asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Hemingway wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Disms, who protects the arm well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hemingway lands a few punches from side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Hemingway counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Hemingway slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Hemingway wants to pass the guard but Disms is keeping the position.

Hemingway with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hemingway accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Hemingway lands a couple of elbows.
Disms being controlled here, momentarily.
Hemingway postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Hemingway trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Hemingway keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Disms's head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Disms working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hemingway.
Hemingway not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Hemingway passes into half guard.
Hemingway perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Hemingway trying to control the action but Disms is working from the bottom.

James Hemingway has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Disms wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Hemingway throws a lazy right hand but Disms sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

and Disms counters with an outside leg kick.
James Hemingway is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Disms stuns Hemingway with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
