Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Brad Shaw!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Gracie checks a leg kick.
Gracie looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Shaw gets caught napping as Gracie dives in and scores a takedown. Shaw manages to retain guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Shaw wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Shaw lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Gracie!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Shaw is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Gracie is surviving well by controlling Shaw's body position as best he can.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
