The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carvalho lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Thor tries to clinch up but Carvalho circles away and keeps his distance.
Carvalho listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Thor pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Thor tries to clinch but Carvalho moves out of range.
A slapping leg kick lands for Thor.
Carvalho pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Carvalho lands a nice shot that snaps Thor's head back.

Carvalho lunges at Thor with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Thor's hand.
Carvalho rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Thor counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Thor tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Carvalho paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Carvalho lands a nice hook to Thor's body. Thor takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Thor dodges the punch combination from Carvalho.
Thor wants to clinch.
No joy there for Carvalho, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Thor tries to close the distance and clinch but Carvalho swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Thor tries to clinch up.
Thor shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Carvalho as he jumps to the side.
Thor misses with a head kick.

Thor throws a series of punches but Carvalho avoids them all with ease.
Carvalho keeps the fight on the outside.
Thor fails with an attempt to clinch.
Some wild striking there from Carvalho.
Carvalho throws out a loose jab but Thor uses good head movement to avoid it.
No joy there for Carvalho, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Thor misses with a wild body shot.
Carvalho jabs Thor to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Carvalho lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Carvalho works Thor's body with a nice hook.

Thor fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Carvalho has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Thor tries to work over Carvalho's front leg with a kick but Carvalho checks it.
Thor closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Thor tries to clinch there but Carvalho circles away.
An inside leg kick from Thor misses.
Carvalho tests Thor's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Thor tries to clinch but Carvalho is having none of it.
Carvalho scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Thor is rocked!
Thor loses concentration momentarily and Carvalho pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Thor crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Carvalho finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
