Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karoa dives in and grabs Fittknull's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fittknull pushes down on Karoa's head and hops out.
Miron Karoa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Karoa looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Karoa closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Fittknull quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Karoa is trying to work for a kimura but Fittknull is defending well.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Karoa is looking to advance position but Fittknull won't allow it.
Karoa seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Fittknull does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Fittknull is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Fittknull is defending against the submission attempts here by Karoa.
We've been hearing that Karoa has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Karoa is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Fittknull is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fittknull has left one of his arms exposed and Karoa doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Fittknull screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
