PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Marcelo Grover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wolf Flow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grover comes into the arena with Ran-D & Zatox - Hectic blaring out of the sound system. Flow is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Rich homie quan- difference. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grover throws a left and a right that both miss
and Flow counters with a big head kick but Grover shrugs it off.
Grover misses with a few strikes there.

It looks like Wolf Flow has been cut.

Grover looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A left lands for Grover.
Flow is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Grover fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Flow looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Flow takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Flow counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Grover's guard now.
Grover is looking to stand back up but Flow counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Grover.

Grover on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Grover tries to get out of the position.

Grover has a hand on Flow's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Flow takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
You get the feeling that Grover really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Flow wants to get back to his feet but Grover is holding on tight.

Grover keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Flow gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Grover stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Grover decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Marcelo Grover is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Grover looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
