Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mitchell Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donnie Darko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Everything Zen- Bush. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jones tries a head kick but it misses.
Darko misses with a low kick.
Darko throws a good cross that connects.
Jones fails in his attempt to clinch.
Donk. Jones catches Darko right on the button with a cross.
Jones scores with a spinning back kick!
Jones has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Team Hopkins in the buildup to the fight.
Jones uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Darko.
Jones rushes Darko and presses him up against the cage.

Darko rushes Jones and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Jones tries to land knees in the clinch but Darko avoids the damage to the body.
Jones misses with a punch on the inside.
Jones lands a right hand that snaps the head of Darko backwards.
Darko tries to work over Jones's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Jones is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Darko is defending well for now.

Darko struggles to land a body shot inside as Jones controls his hands.

With the fighters up against the cage, Jones throws an elbow but misses.

Darko blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Darko trying to control the position but instead, Jones has worked for underhooks and has pushed Darko into the cage.

and Darko counters with a two punch combo.
Jones waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Darko.
Jones connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Good shot there by Jones.
Jones tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jones scores with a nice strike.
Darko moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Darko on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Darko throws a series of punches but Jones avoids them all with ease.
Jones cracks Darko with an open hand slap.
Jones sizes up Darko with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Darko circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jones is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

The fighters circling - Darko throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Jones doesn't manage to clinch there - Darko circles away.
Darko with a hook.
Darko lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jones circles away quickly and effectively.
Jones misses with a body shot.
Jones lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Darko tried to score with a low kick but Jones checks it.
Decent striking displayed by Darko there.
Jones is rocked!
A combination from Darko does no damage.

Jones throws a half hearted mid kick.
Jones connects with a looping right hand.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Darko drops Jones with a beautiful combination! Jones stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Darko is looking for the KO!
Oh Jones is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jones throws a lazy right hand but Darko sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Darko lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Donnie Darko!
