The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kranc takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Magamutdinov throws the left hand but Kranc avoids the punch easily.
Magamutdinov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Magamutdinov looks to land a combination but Kranc avoids it well.
Magamutdinov lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kranc circles away quickly and effectively.
Magamutdinov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kranc moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Magamutdinov tries to bum rush Kranc with a series of wild strikes but Kranc uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Kranc fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Magamutdinov sprawls well initially but Kranc persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Kranc is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Magamutdinov is just riding it out for now. Kranc eventually gives up the hold.
