The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Penn scores with a one two! Wilk had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Arkadiusz Wilk has been cut.
A punch combination from Penn misses.
Penn tries to clinch up but Wilk circles away and keeps his distance.
Wilk closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Penn to the mat! Penn manages to get full guard.

Wilk throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Penn's waist but Penn gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wilk off to one side.
Penn bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
No luck for Wilk with that takedown attempt.
