Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Amos Parks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ethan Riley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parks comes to the cage accompanied by All I Do Is Win. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Amos Parks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ethan Riley!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riley looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Parks shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Riley napping and manages to drive through into side control!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Parks scoring with punches and elbows.
Riley is looking for a sweep.
Riley is not content to let Parks control the position.
Parks is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Riley will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Parks working away.
Parks is looking to take a break and control but Riley is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Parks is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Riley is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Riley gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Riley tries to roll over but Parks keeps him under control.
The fighters are battling for position here. Riley manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Parks really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Parks trying to control but Riley is working from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Amos Parks.
Riley shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Parks as he avoids it easily.

Amos Parks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ethan Riley.
Riley misses with a takedown attempt - Parks sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Riley tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Parks defends well and Riley ends up having to push Parks into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Parks lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Riley backwards.

Parks works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Riley wants to control the pace but Parks is squirming around nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Parks wants to control but Riley is having none of it.

Riley is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Parks defends it well.

Riley slips a nice elbow through Parks's hands, connecting with Parks's forehead.

Parks tries to kick Riley off but Riley keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Riley is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Parks has managed to free his arm - good work.
Riley takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

A close round but Ethan Riley will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!



Riley shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Parks is trying to defend but Riley finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Riley moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Parks.
Parks is looking to reverse the position.

Riley is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Parks knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Riley advances nicely into full mount.

Parks is in a horrible position here. Riley smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Riley moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Parks has worked his arm free - good work by Parks!
What's Parks going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.
Riley in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

Riley wants to lay and pray for a moment but Parks keeps working.
Parks can't do much from the bottom here.
Parks tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Parks taking punishment in the form of punches.

Riley tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Parks managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Riley.

Parks takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Riley wants to lay and pray for a moment but Parks keeps working.
Riley lands a decent elbow from side control.

Riley tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Parks is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Riley trying to control the action but Parks is working from the bottom.

Riley is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Parks knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ethan Riley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Riley goes for a double leg but Parks avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Parks continues to drive forward.
Parks tries to land knees in the clinch but Riley avoids the damage to the body.
Riley wants to take the fight to the mat but Parks manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Parks has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Riley uses from the top position.

Riley looking to sit in guard and control but Parks gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Parks avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Parks decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Parks throws a nice looking combination but Riley bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Parks is looking to clinch.
Nice takedown defense from Parks. No joy for Riley on that attempt.
Amos Parks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ethan Riley.
Parks throws a wild body kick that Riley sees coming a mile off.
Parks slaps away a takedown attempt from Riley, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Parks displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Riley.
Riley takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Parks shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Riley eats them both and turns towards Parks to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Parks drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Parks gets to mount! Riley was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Ethan Riley is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Riley gets back to half guard.
Riley wants to get back to full guard.

Parks is working for a kimura but Riley is defending it quite comfortably.
Riley blocking the ground and pound attempt from Parks.
Riley is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Riley can do anything to dispel that myth.

Parks looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Riley is looking to control Parks's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Riley avoid being mounted?
Amos Parks has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Riley is defending against the submission attempts here by Parks.
Riley is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

Parks wants to stand up but Riley has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Riley holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

Parks is working for a kimura but Riley is defending it quite comfortably.

Parks is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Riley defends it well.
Parks will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Parks throwing shots but Riley is blocking nicely.

And that's the end of the fight!
Amos Parks showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Riley has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A less than humble Ethan Riley misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
