Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Hero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirko Filipovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chris Hero!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mirko Filipovic!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Francis DeMontford and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Filipovic chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hero can pounce on him.
Filipovic lands a nice looking kick to the body. Hero takes a step back to recover.
Filipovic throws a series of punches but Hero moves out of range.
Hero misses with a left hand
and Filipovic counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Filipovic fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
It looks like Chris Hero has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hero on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Filipovic throws a push kick but Hero slaps the foot to one side.
Hero will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Filipovic lands a left and a right that send Hero crashing to the mat, dazed. Filipovic thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Hero is rocked!
Hero throws a series of punches but Filipovic avoids them all with ease.
Oh Hero is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Filipovic plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Hero swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Hero face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Mirko Filipovic!
