The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut lands for Jones. That snapped Rousey's head back.
Rousey is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jones sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
The fighters circling - Jones throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Jones drops Rousey with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Rousey looks back up at him and smiles so Jones waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Rousey is rocked!
It looks like Rowdy Rousey has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jones pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Oh Rousey is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jones darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Rousey's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Jones before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nathan Jones!
