The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goon just misses with a punch to the body.
Magee gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Goon.
Goon throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Magee takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Magee on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Magee tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Goon swivels and escapes.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Goon stalling in the clinch but Magee improves position.
Magee has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Goon is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Goon really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Goon lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Nice uppercut lands for Goon. That snapped Magee's head back.

Magee misses with a shot to the body
and Goon counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Magee goes for a double leg but Goon avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Goon continues to drive forward.
Goon looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Magee has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Goon clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Magee is looking to control Goon but Goon is wriggling around and keeping busy.

Magee has got his arm under Goon's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! Goon has spun round into Magee's guard beautifully! Well done that man!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Goon gets to his feet - Magee follows without any prompting.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Goon.
Magee is trying hard to land a takedown here. Goon sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
