Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Andre Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vitor Armando (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Santos gets the takedown into side control.
Armando defending against the ground and pound.
Armando prevents Santos from moving into mount.
Santos really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Santos misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Armando is not content to let Santos control the position.
Santos prevents Armando from escaping the position.
Santos in side control, throwing shots but Armando defends.
Santos has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Santos wants to lay and pray for a moment but Armando keeps working.
Santos has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Armando!
Santos lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Armando really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Santos. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Santos seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Armando for as long as he can get away with.
Armando's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Armando is desperately trying to improve his position but Santos has a good base and remains in mount.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Andre Santos just wasn't active enough.
Armando tries to close the distance and clinch but Santos swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Santos's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Santos duly obliges.
Armando throws a right and a left that Santos avoids nicely.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Armando throws a one two combo.
Santos doesn't manage to clinch there - Armando circles away.
No joy there for Armando, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Santos shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Armando is in trouble now - Santos has advanced to mount!
Santos has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Armando's face.

Santos has hold of Armando's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Armando manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Armando is looking to get to half guard.
Armando is breathing heavily.

Santos has control of Armando's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Armando regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Santos jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Armando is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Armando and Santos has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Santos lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Armando down.

Santos will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Armando throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Santos.
Armando rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Santos moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Armando tries to close the distance and clinch up but Santos swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Armando scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Armando gets caught napping as Santos dives in and scores a takedown. Armando manages to retain guard.
Santos controls from within his opponent's guard.
Santos advances to half guard.
Santos content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Armando takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Armando is looking for a sweep. Santos is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Santos passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Armando!

Santos working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Armando turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Santos off and cradles Armando's limp body as Santos celebrates with his corner.
