PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rock Scissors (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trent Hangman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Trent Hangman was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hangman rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Scissors connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Trent Hangman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Scissors lands with a straight right. Hangman didn't see that one coming.
Scissors seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Hangman swinging wildly here.
Hangman misses with a right hand
and Scissors counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Hangman takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Hangman staying out of range there.
Hangman fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Scissors manages to avoid it.
Scissors misses with a looping right.
Scissors looks to land a right hand but Hangman moved out of range.
Scissors ducks under a wild hook from Hangman.
Hangman falls off balance throwing a combination
letting Scissors counter with a right hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hangman misses the body punch
and Scissors connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Scissors misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Scissors swings for the body but Hangman moves out of range.

and Scissors holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Hangman is trying to break free.
Hangman is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Hangman takes a shot to the head.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Scissors.
Scissors scores with a hook to the body.
Scissors is pushing Hangman up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Hangman is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Scissors scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Scissors lands with a right to the head.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Hangman wants to break the clinch but can't.

Scissors lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Hangman is still on wobbly legs! Can Scissors finish him?

Scissors lands a hook that snaps the head of Hangman backwards.
Scissors lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Hangman or not.
Hangman seems to have recovered his senses.
Scissors pushes Hangman back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Hangman wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Scissors has him pressed against the cage.
Scissors lands a left hand.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Scissors.
Scissors pushes Hangman against the cage. Scissors is working some dirty boxing. Scissors pushes off with a quick right hook! Hangman goes down! Hangman tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Scissors moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
