The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karlsson dives in for a single leg takedown but Kazarian sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the ropes.

We've been hearing reports that Karlsson has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Karlsson lands a left hand that snaps the head of Kazarian backwards.
Kazarian is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Kazarian is pressed up against the ropes. Karlsson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kazarian down to the mat. Kazarian avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Kazarian scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Karlsson doesn't seem bothered though.
Karlsson walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Kazarian circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Karlsson to the canvas! Karlsson doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Kazarian keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
