The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bashor moves in looking to clinch but Palhares pushes him off.
Bashor wants to land a leg kick but Palhares is out of range.

It looks like Dominickoy Palhares has been cut.
Bashor is pressed up against the ropes. Palhares has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bashor down to the mat. Bashor avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Clinched against the ropes, Bashor lands a big elbow that drops Palhares! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Palhares is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
