The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hammer connects with a nice short shot to Lewis's temple.

Lewis looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hammer with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hammer has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Lewis is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Hammer has Lewis pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Hammer pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Lewis tumbling to the mat - Hammer dives into Lewis's guard.
