The judges for this bout are William Gold, Chris Edwards and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rocky misses with an attempted mid kick.
Rocky stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rocky wants it to stay on the feet.
Rocky throws a sloppy head kick and Stanton moves out of range easily.
Rocky misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Stanton.
Stanton tries to land a front kick but Rocky steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Rocky fails in his attempt to clinch.
Rocky has taken the fight to the clinch.
Stanton tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Rocky's elbow.
Rocky wants to break free but Stanton has control.
Stanton tries for a takedown but Rocky manages to get underhooks.
Stanton has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Rocky after a bit of a struggle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cliff Stanton. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rocky is pressed up against the cage. Stanton has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rocky down to the mat. Rocky avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Rocky is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Rocky drives through and clinches with Stanton against the cage.

Stanton tries to score a body lock takedown but Rocky shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Rocky pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

and Rocky holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Rocky is trying to break free.
Rocky's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Rocky wants to clinch up but Stanton keeps it at a distance.

Stanton takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
It looks like Cliff Stanton has been cut.
Rocky lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Stanton circles away quickly and effectively.
Stanton has Rocky up against the cage in a clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Stanton is trying to pull guard but Rocky has him pressed against the cage.
Rocky breaks the clinch.
A combination from Rocky does no damage.
Stanton blocks a low kick nicely.
Rocky swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Rocky closes the distance and clinches.

Stanton changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Rocky fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Rocky lets loose with a powerful body kick. Stanton will feel that in the morning.

and Stanton decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rocky's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Rocky wants to stand but Stanton is controlling the position.
Stanton is pushing down on Rocky's leg trying to pass to half guard. Rocky is fighting to maintain full guard but Stanton has managed to sneak the leg through.
Rocky manages to escape and get back to his feet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rocky tries to close the distance and clinch but Stanton swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kevin Rocky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Rocky is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Stanton jumps into side control!

Rocky gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Stanton is thwarting Rocky's attempts to control the position.
Rocky flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Stanton slows the pace down in half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Rocky throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Stanton manages to pass to side control.

Stanton decides to stand back up. Stanton steps back and let's Rocky get back to his feet.
Stanton avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Stanton is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Rocky lands with a thumping leg kick.
Rocky lands a jab-cross combination.
Rocky is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Stanton takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Stanton defending well as Rocky loads up on a big left hand.
Stanton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rocky moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Stanton keeps the fight on the outside.
Rocky has Stanton up against the cage in a clinch.
Stanton has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Rocky avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Stanton gets control of Rocky's arms and successfully pulls guard. Stanton will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Stanton not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That was a close second round but I would say that Cliff Stanton will probably get the nod.

A head kick by Rocky misses
and Stanton counters with a good, hard body kick but Rocky shrugs it off.
A nice inside leg kick there by Rocky. That's going to slow Stanton down.
No joy there for Rocky, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rocky connects with a solid leg kick.
Rocky will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rocky pushes Stanton up against the cage in a clinch.
Stanton jumps guard but Rocky turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Rocky escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Stanton shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Rocky is trying to defend but Stanton finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Stanton is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Rocky throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Stanton goes for a takedown in the clinch but Rocky prevents it.

Rocky lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Rocky.
