The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferdanand wants to clinch
and Galustyan counters with a shoot takedown. Ferdanand fights it but they end up in guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Galustyan's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Galustyan controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Galustyan wants to pass the guard but Ferdanand is keeping the position.
Galustyan is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Galustyan scoring with some ground and pound.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Galustyan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Galustyan postures up in Ferdanand's guard and throws a big left but Ferdanand blocks it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Galustyan is working Ferdanand over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Galustyan cracks Ferdanand with a solid left hand.
Galustyan postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Ferdanand covers up, he's hurt! Galustyan keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Galustyan and the ref steps in to end the fight! Galustyan can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

Hanz Ferdanand was interviewed post fight and said 'Well next time punk ill be the one who wins!'.
