Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ross Middleton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Gemson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gemson tries to clinch up but Middleton circles away and keeps his distance.
Gemson throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Middleton swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Gemson bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Gemson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Middleton's half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Middleton has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gemson is working away from the top position though.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ross Middleton.
Well Gemson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
