The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob connects with the punch.
A right-left combo lands from Renner.
Bob misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Renner.
Renner wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Renner throws a shot from downtown. Bob moves away and avoids it.
Bob waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Renner.
Nice takedown defense from Renner. No joy for Bob on that attempt.
Renner scores with a jab to the head.
Bob lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Bob swings away with a leg kick that misses.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bob throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Bob lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Renner at a distance.
Renner lands with a hook. Bob tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

It looks like Billy Bob has been cut.

Renner swings away with a leg kick that misses.

Bob misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Renner.
Bob tries to work over Renner's front leg with a kick but Renner checks it.
Billy Bob seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Renner takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Renner swings for the body but Bob moves out of range.
Renner swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bob lands a nice shot that snaps Renner's head back.
Renner walks forward, straight into a front kick from Bob.

Renner moves out of range of the leg kick from Bob.

Bob closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Renner's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Bob lands a couple of digs.

Renner wants to sweep but no luck.

Renner is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Bob stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Renner swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bob has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Renner is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Bob frees his head nicely. Oh but Renner has switched to an armbar! Bob is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

A very excited looking Jeremy Renner rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
