Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lacy Cortez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dchingis Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dchingis Khan will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan misses with a series of wild punches.
Khan throws a right and a left that both miss.
Khan lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

It looks like Lacy Cortez has been cut.
Khan throws a right hand that Cortez ducks under and follows up with a left that Cortez also avoids with ease.
Khan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cortez takes one on the chin but seems OK.

and Cortez counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

and Cortez counters with a shoot takedown. Khan fights it but they end up in guard.
Cortez lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Khan told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
