The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mikhail stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mikhail wants it to stay on the feet.
Mikhail circles away from the clinch attempt.
Diggy shoots in and drives through. Mikhail sprawls well.

Mikhail gets tackled into the cage by Diggy. Diggy maintains the clinch.
Diggy goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Mikhail prevents a body shot from Diggy.
Mikhail blocks an uppercut.
Diggy prevents a takedown attempt there.
Mikhail drops down looking for an ankle pick but Diggy pulls his leg out and moves away.
Diggy fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mikhail avoids it really well and circles away.
Ivan Mikhail has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ligyy Diggy.
Mikhail stuffs the takedown attempt from Diggy. Diggy gets slowly back to his feet.

Mikhail shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Mikhail was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Diggy can do anything to dispel that myth.

Diggy is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Mikhail asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Diggy tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Mikhail presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Mikhail softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Diggy is out cold! Mikhail jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
