Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tom Svenn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clarence Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Svenn comes to the cage accompanied by We Taking Over. On his way into the cage it seems that Tom Svenn has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Tom Svenn seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Daniel Cesar and Mauricio Rocha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Svenn swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Thomas.
Svenn moves away from the strike by Thomas.
Thomas ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Svenn moves away.
Thomas connects with a jab.

It looks like Tom Svenn has been cut.
A swing and a miss from Thomas.
Thomas misses the shot to the body.
Clarence Thomas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thomas throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Svenn keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Thomas.
Thomas throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Svenn sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Thomas is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Thomas misses with the combination.
Thomas throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Thomas throws an overhand right that lands on Svenn's shoulder, as Svenn tries to avoid the shot.
Svenn slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Thomas gets a clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Svenn wants a takedown.

Thomas takes an elbow to the forehead.
Thomas is trying to break the clinch but Svenn has him pressed against the cage.

Thomas has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Svenn clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Thomas lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.
Svenn is trying to break free.

Thomas is hanging on to Svenn's back as he tries to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Svenn manages to reverse the position and now he's in Thomas's guard. Nice work there by Svenn.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Thomas pulls Svenn in close to his closed guard and prevents Svenn from doing any damage or advancing position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Thomas can do anything to dispel that myth.
Thomas is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Svenn tries to free his leg and advance position but Thomas is retaining full guard.

Svenn is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Thomas lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Svenn!

Svenn is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Thomas takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Despite being in the dominant position, Clarence Thomas just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Svenn is breathing heavily.

Thomas misses with a jab, cross combination.

Thomas scores with a punch to the head.
Thomas tries to clinch up but Svenn circles away and keeps his distance.
Thomas swings for the body but Svenn moves out of range.
Thomas connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Svenn tumbling to the canvas! Thomas pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Svenn was done - good stoppage!
