Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jhonny Abdu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Django Kinte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abdu looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Django Kinte seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Abdu doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Kinte misses with the combination.
Abdu ducks under a wild hook from Kinte.
Abdu slips a jab and a cross from Kinte.
Good standup being displayed there by Kinte as he connects with a hook.
Nice uppercut lands for Abdu. That snapped Kinte's head back.
Kinte throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kinte just misses with a punch to the body.
Abdu throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Abdu closes the distance and lands a one-two.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kinte connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Abdu momentarily.
Kinte throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kinte fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Abdu manages to avoid it.
Kinte throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Abdu stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Kinte slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Kinte is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Abdu rather than just go for the knockout.
Kinte swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Abdu counters with a slapping leg kick.
Abdu throws a quick inside leg kick.
Kinte's coach down at Weed Nation was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Kinte's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

That kick from Abdu tenderised Kinte's leg. Kinte is trying to keep his angry face on.
Kinte loads up on a big right hand but Abdu slips the punch.
Abdu takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Abdu throws a nice inside leg kick.
Abdu throws a head kick that half lands.

It looks like Django Kinte has been cut.
Abdu connects with an inside leg kick.
Good leg kick by Abdu there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

A nice leg kick lands there from Abdu.
Kinte's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Abdu forces Kinte back against the cage and clinches.
Abdu lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

Abdu escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kinte throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Abdu throws a leg kick which misses Kinte's front leg but catches the back leg as Kinte tries to avoid it.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Abdu.
Abdu connects with a leg kick. Kinte looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Abdu uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kinte has time to react.
Kinte takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Abdu cracks Kinte with an open hand slap.

Kinte is rocked!
Abdu and Kinte are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Abdu throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Kinte into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Abdu knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
