Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shawn Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drew Iverson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taylor kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is This Fire Burns . Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor swinging wildly here.
Iverson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Iverson enables Taylor to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Iverson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Iverson is working an open guard so Taylor takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Taylor works to advance to full mount. Iverson defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Taylor cracks Iverson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
