The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Park connects with a looping right hand.

Mackenzie tries to keep at a distance but Park has taken the fight into the clinch.
Park landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Mackenzie goes for a takedown attempt but Park pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Mackenzie drives through with a takedown into Park's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Park tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Mackenzie manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Park counters with a left and a right that stings Mackenzie.
Mackenzie fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Efren Park has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Mackenzie.

Park closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Mackenzie quickly recovers to half guard.

Mackenzie is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Park has his hands clasped together but Mackenzie extends and breaks Park's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Mackenzie.
