The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jones circles away quickly and effectively.
Jackson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Jackson digs a good hook to Jones's body.
Jackson is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Jackson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jones takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Jackson shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Jones eats them both and turns towards Jackson to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Jackson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jones manages to avoid it.

Jones takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Jackson is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Jones's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Jackson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Jones scrambles back to his feet.

Jackson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jones stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Nice defenses there by Jones.

A looping hook to the body misses from Jackson. Jones does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jones's coach down at Madz was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Jones's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Jackson throws a lazy right hand but Jones sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jackson just misses with a punch to the body.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mark Jackson dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Jackson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jones was well out of range. Poor timing from Jackson.
Clyde Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jackson sends Jones crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Jackson is motioning to the referee to let Jones up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Jackson cracks Jones with a hook to the temple - Jones is on wobbly legs here! Jackson swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Jones falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Jackson wins by TKO!

Mark Jackson tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
