Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Gonzales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Volk Kruth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gonzales comes to the cage accompanied by Crazy. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gonzales scores with a jab.
Ricardo Gonzales seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gonzales is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kruth.
Gonzales throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kruth counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Gonzales's guard now.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Gonzales controls Kruth momentarily but Kruth frees himself.
Kruth lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Kruth tries to free his leg and advance position but Gonzales is retaining full guard.
Kruth content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gonzales will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Gonzales is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Kruth has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Gonzales knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kruth on the ground.

Kruth takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Gonzales is squirming around, avoiding Kruth's attempts to control the action.

Gonzales wants to control but Kruth is keeping busy.
Kruth tries to pass the half guard into mount. Gonzales knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Kruth connects with a bit shot that sees Gonzales covering up! More strikes from Kruth and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Kruth is our winner by TKO!
