The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Boulwiha has his takedown stuffed
and Silva counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Boulwiha thinking.
Silva cracks Boulwiha with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Silva scores with a sloppy right hand. Boulwiha should have avoided that one.
Silva swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Boulwiha has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Island Conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Boulwiha is defended easily by Silva.
Silva stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yuba Boulwiha. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Silva scores with a nice strike.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Silva, as that shot connected.
Boulwiha shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Silva pinned against the cage. Silva gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Silva lands with a nice body punch.

Silva sends Boulwiha crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Silva is motioning to the referee to let Boulwiha up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

It looks like Yuba Boulwiha has been cut.

and Silva counters with a huge right that knocks Boulwiha out cold! Silva is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
