Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Django Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Urijah Faber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown comes to the cage accompanied by System Of A Down - Chop Suey! . Faber has chosen Choke - Red Jumpsuit Apparatus as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Django Brown has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Django Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Urijah Faber!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Faber looking to score a takedown here. Brown is defending well but Faber drives through and ends up in Brown's guard.
Faber wants to control from the top but Brown keeps moving.
Faber trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Faber stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brown swivels though and keeps the full guard.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Faber working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Faber drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Brown dives on top into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Faber is trying to control the position but Brown postures up.
Brown postures up and lands a big shot to Faber's brow.
Faber wants to sweep here but Brown controlling him for the moment.

We've been hearing that Brown has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Brown accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Faber escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brown gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Brown throws a strike but Faber rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Brown wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Faber is now in half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Faber seems to be working for a kimura but Brown defends the submission attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Urijah Faber will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Brown has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Faber finds it's way round the side to connect with Brown's head.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Brown creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Brown swings wildly with an uppercut but Faber uses good head movement to avoid it.

Faber is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Brown pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Faber is fighting off a takedown attempt but Brown is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Faber to the mat. Faber regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Brown working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Faber doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Faber manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Faber isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Brown stacks Faber on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Brown!

That was a close second round but I would say that Django Brown will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Brown changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Faber looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

I would just about give that final round to Urijah Faber.
