The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mann throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Mann throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Mann throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Mann tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Mann shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Mann tries to clinch but Elerman is having none of it.
Elerman fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mann looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Elerman blocks a head kick by Mann.

Elerman shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Elerman prevents Mann from standing back up.
Mann tries to get to full guard but Elerman has control of the leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mann is looking to stand up but Elerman isn't so interested in that idea.
Mann really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Elerman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Elerman lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Elerman lands a big shot there that rocks Mann but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Mann regains half guard.
Mann wants to get back to full guard.
Elerman perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Mann tries to roll over but Elerman keeps him under control.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Elerman connects with a nice short shot to Mann's temple.
Mann wants to get back to full guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Elerman seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Elerman passes to side control.
Mann is trying to get back to half guard.

Elerman avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Mann throws out a loose jab but Elerman uses good head movement to avoid it.
Elerman lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Mann at a distance.
Mann wants to clinch.
Mann misses with a straight left.
Elerman lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Elerman ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Elerman fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Elerman swings widly with a right hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Mann looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Elerman dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Elerman lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Mann is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mann tries to close the distance and clinch but Elerman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mann is still on wobbly legs! Can Elerman finish him?

Elerman lands a big shot that drops Mann! Can he finish him?
Mann controls Elerman momentarily but Elerman frees himself.
Elerman stops Mann from standing up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mann is breathing heavily.
Mann is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Elerman is stalling in the full guard.
Mann seems to have recovered his senses.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Alexander Mann was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Elerman changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Elerman checks the leg kick nicely there.
Mann on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

and Elerman cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Mann tries to clinch up but Elerman circles away and keeps his distance.

Mann tries to close the distance and clinch up but Elerman swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Elerman drives through with a takedown into Mann's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Elerman is nestled in close to Mann, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
