Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eugene Elephant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zam Bam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Eugene Elephant !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Zam Bam!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Andrew Berry and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Elephant shoots in and bounces Bam off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Elephant throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bam works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Bam manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Bam moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Elephant has worked his arm free - good work by Elephant !
Bam creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Elephant sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Bam looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Elephant is avoiding damage well.
Bam trying to control the position but Elephant is working away.

Bam tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bam has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Elephant is looking for a sweep.
Elephant is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Bam's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Elephant is doing well to control the position and prevent Bam from advancing to side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bam missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Elephant wants to improve his position but Bam is controlling well.
Bam throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Elephant to regain full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bam trying to control but Elephant is working from the bottom.
Elephant has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Bam loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Bam being controlled here momentarily.

Elephant working for a triangle but Bam defends it easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Elephant can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bam controls the pace.
Elephant is controlling Bam's posture.
Elephant working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Bam.
Bam wants to pass the guard but Elephant is keeping the position.
Bam trying to control but Elephant is working from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Bam fails with an attempt to clinch.
Elephant scores with a hook to the body. Bam takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Bam wants to clinch

and Elephant counters with a takedown into side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bam is trying to control Elephant 's posture but Elephant avoids it.
Bam tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Bam is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Elephant scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Bam to see if he's OK.
Elephant is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Bam's shoulder. That is not cool.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eugene Elephant dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


A looping hook to the body misses from Bam. Elephant does a little dance to reset his feet.
Elephant looks to land a left hand but Bam moved out of range nicely.
Eugene Elephant seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bam misses with a right hand
and Elephant counters with a slapping leg kick.
Bam has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.

Bam throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Elephant was covering up waiting for the punch and Bam finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Elephant lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bam!
Elephant trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Elephant is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Bam can't stay in a position like this for much longer.


It looks like Zam Bam has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bam takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bam is desperately trying to improve his position but Elephant has a good base and remains in mount.
Elephant lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.


The cut above Zam Bam's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Elephant with the ground and pound from mount.


Zam Bam's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Zam Bam's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Eugene Elephant !
